Le Courant

When music paints, and painting sings.

Claire Gross — Visual Artist & Illustrator (live painting)
& Marco Di Bari — Musician (guitar and electronics)

They meet on stage — one with brushes, the other with strings. Lines and colors unfold as notes and rhythms take shape. They move between leading and following, guided by the ability to listen deeply and respond without words. In this space, attention becomes a shared canvas, echoing the concept of attunement — the psychological state of being fully present and in sync with another. Painting answers music, music answers painting. Two languages merge, creating a story that exists only in the moment, then disappears.

Based in Switzerland, Claire is a multidisciplinary visual artist with experience in illustration, graphic design, and ceramics. After studying classical drawing in Florence, she collaborated on various projects, from album covers to circus posters. Her practice is deeply influenced by movement and spontaneity, leading her to develop live painting performances where she interacts directly with musicians. Through dynamic brushstrokes and evolving forms, she visually translates soundscapes into immersive artworks.
